Through club tournament competition we promote the sport, enjoy the outdoors, and try to improve the skills and knowledge of all members. After each tournament there is a sharing of the techniques and patterns used by the top finishers, as well as plenty of time for fellowship and good old fashioned fish stories. Each tournament features a members raffle, and every out of town tournament has a pot luck that is always a hit. At the end  the year a Tournament Angler of the Year is determined by total points earned. The tournament standings also determine the make up of the next years WBA team that fishes in the state qualifier series for a chance to advance to the FLW championship.
